Pourquoi nous ne participerons pas au Black Friday

Why we won't be participating in Black Friday

For the past few years, the Black Friday promotional wave , straight from the United States, has been hitting France at the end of November. Anticipated by some, this sales event has now become one of the major highlights of the calendar in the run-up to Christmas .

Why not participate in Black Friday, you might ask? Firstly, because it doesn't align with our values . The overconsumption promoted by this sale undermines our environmental concerns, sweeping aside any ambition for reasonable and controlled consumption.

Secondly, because we believe this protects the expertise of the artisans and producers we collaborate with. "Slashing prices" on a product means acknowledging that its usual price is unfair, that it is overvalued.
The prices of the Provençal products we offer are determined by our partners, taking into account the cost of raw materials, their labor, and their commitment to working locally in Provence. This price is deliberate; it reflects quality , craftsmanship, and regional expertise.

Making this choice also means foregoing a significant increase in our sales over this period. Nevertheless, we prefer to remain true to our values and continue collaborating with our partner artisans and producers in a supportive and trusting environment.

Of course, if you want and/or need our Provençal products, whether it's gourmet foods , wines , beauty products or home decor , we are always here to serve you and our logistics team will be happy to prepare your order with the utmost care! :)
But for the huge promotions, they won't go through us.
