General terms and conditions of sale

Thebestofprovence.com (hereinafter referred to as "the Site") is published by The Best of Provence SAS, a company with a capital of €4,000, whose registered office is located at 1481, chemin du Jas, 84220 Roussillon, France, registered with the Avignon Trade and Companies Register, intra-community VAT number FR 19912747854 (hereinafter referred to as "The Best of Provence"). All orders placed on the Site are subject to these terms and conditions of sale. The Best of Provence reserves the right to adapt or modify these terms and conditions of sale at any time. The version of the terms and conditions of sale applicable to any transaction is the one displayed online at www.thebestofprovence.com at the time the order is placed.

1. THE CLIENT
The Customer declares to be a natural person, at least 18 years of age, and to have the legal capacity or parental authorization to place an order on the website. When registering their personal data in the "my account" section, the Customer must ensure the accuracy and completeness of the required information provided. In the event of an error in the recipient's contact information, The Best of Provence cannot be held responsible for the inability to deliver the product. The Best of Provence reserves the right to cancel any order when the customer's IP address is located in a country different from the billing and/or delivery address.

2. THE PRODUCTS
The products offered for sale are those described on the website. The Best of Provence takes great care in presenting and describing its products to best inform the customer. However, it is possible that minor errors may appear on the website, which the customer acknowledges and accepts. 4. PRICE AND PAYMENT TERMS
4.1 Price Determination

IMPORTANT : For all orders shipped outside the EU, the customer will be responsible for any import duties or taxes charged by customs and any carrier-related charges. Any additional charges will be collected from the customer by the chosen carrier upon delivery.
4.2 Payment terms
Products are payable in full on the day the order is placed. Payment for purchases can be made either by:

In this regard, the Customer expressly acknowledges that providing their credit card number to The Best of Provence constitutes authorization to debit their account for the ordered products. The data recorded and stored by The Best of Provence serves as proof of the order and all transactions. The data recorded by the payment system constitutes proof of the financial transactions.
  • Or PayPal: please follow the instructions. After authorizing the payment on the PayPal website, you will be redirected to thebestofprovence.com where you can confirm the payment by clicking to proceed. An order summary page will be displayed once the transaction is confirmed. The data recorded and stored by The Best of Provence constitutes proof of the order and all transactions. The data recorded by the payment system constitutes proof of the financial transactions.

5. DELIVERY
Delivery will be made to the delivery address provided by the customer, which must be the customer's residence or the residence of any other individual of their choosing residing in metropolitan France. Delivery cannot be made to hotels or post office boxes.
Delivery to countries outside the European Union may be delayed due to customs fees that have not been accepted and borne by you.
To ensure timely delivery, you must verify that you have provided complete and accurate delivery address information (such as, but not limited to, street number, building number, floor number, access codes, names and/or intercom numbers, etc.). Inaccurate information may result in longer delivery or reshipment times.
The indicated delivery times are estimates, corresponding to average processing and delivery times. The Best of Provence cannot be held responsible for consequences due to shipping delays that are not its fault.
In the event of damaged packages (already opened, missing products, etc.), the Customer undertakes to notify the carrier and The Best of Provence, by all means, of any reservations within 3 days of receiving the product.

6. RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

The Best of Provence is committed to providing products of the highest quality.
If you are not satisfied with your order, you have 14 days from the date of receipt of the package to notify us and we undertake to offer you an exchange or a refund of the products concerned under the conditions below.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to legal entities.
Items must be returned in their original packaging and condition.
To request a return for European countries, please submit your request via the contact form or send an email to info@thebestofprovence.com stating the reason for the return.
Outside of Europe, the buyer will be responsible for the return shipping costs.
Our customer service will provide all necessary instructions with the return address as well as a return authorization number which must be indicated on the return package.
In the event of a refund, it will be issued within 14 working days of the date of receipt of the returned item.
We are responsive in adjusting our prices based on trends, stock levels, and our business operations.
The price difference for orders placed before promotions or sales cannot be refunded, nor can it be given as a credit note.
In the event of the return of defective goods, The Best of Provence will return them to the buyer who will be responsible for paying the shipping costs.
For refund requests: The buyer will be fully refunded the purchase price and initial shipping costs in accordance with the Chatel Law. Return shipping costs remain the responsibility of the buyer residing outside the European Union.

7. INFORMATION AND FREEDOMS
The information collected by The Best of Provence during a customer order is necessary for processing the transaction and, for this purpose, may be shared, in whole or in part, with The Best of Provence's service providers involved in fulfilling the order.
